The Big Day is full of beautiful moments and so many emotions, but it's hard to remember them all when the day goes by so fast. That's where wedding photographers come in -- they're on-site to capture all the small, but special, moments that may have otherwise gotten buried in a pile of memories.
On Friday, we asked our readers to share with us their favorite wedding day moment caught on film. Below are 12 photos that capture the joy, laughter and romance of the Big Day.
"There was a monsoon on my wedding day! Earlier in the planning process I swore to my husband-to-be that I would not be upset if it rained on our wedding day. We spent too much time and effort planning the day for the past two years, that I would not let a little rain bring me down. He didn't fully believe me. Luckily my photographer Amanda has the photo to prove it!" - Jenna Sikes
@KatieKO_Busch: "My favorite pic with my mom after the ceremony #joy #fullheart"
@AbigailLilx: "Shy flower girl wasn't sure what to do once she got up to the officiant :)"
"The first time we saw each other that day, when we said our kavanot (intentions or vows), and immediately after our ceremony when we were wrapped in my husband's tallis and got to run off and spend some time alone together." - Daniel & Talia Haykin
@danniediego: "Being in the peach trees felt like a fairy tale."
"My dad and I during our first dance. We were singing 'In My Life' by the Beatles to each other. We are both huge Beatles fans. I love this memory!" - Jill Patir
@RLongawa: "The tears in my dads eyes as he gave me away."
"During our First Look we were both SO nervous and excited, but we still managed to joke around about one of our favorite inside jokes." - Rebecca Decker
@ajewnamedhog: "After the speeches, dances, etc. it's just us... Laughing!"
"Me and my beautiful Israeli wife, Liron Cohen, just minutes before entering the chapel at NYC City Hall to be married. This was July 12, 2013 -- 16 days after Section 3 of DOMA bit the dust. Pure, unmitigated joy." - Mimi Torchin
"One my most memorable wedding day moments was dancing with my then-3-year-old son, Reece. He helped walk me down the aisle that special day, and was as much a part of the Big Day as me and my husband were. He's such a fabulous kid!" - Clarissa Laskey
@katemoloney86: "Me, my husband Kevin and our son Thomas dancing together halfway through our first dance song!"
