After Allison's father sacrificed himself to Jennifer on "Teen Wolf," the teens were left in a desperate situation. With the aid of their veterinarian friend, they hatched a plan that could help them save their parents. But it could also cost them their lives.
Scott, Stiles and Allison -- Jennifer had all three of their parents by this time -- would each serve as a surrogate sacrifice. Essentially, they would die. As Hollywood Life's Andy Swift pointed out, the plan was to bring them back to life, but plans don't always work out as intended, do they?
Each was submerged in a tub filled with ice water and certain herbs. The episode closed with the three of them being pushed beneath the water and someone's eyes opening with werewolf yellow -- probably Scott, but the show has thrown wild twists at us before!
But there's a bigger price to pay, as Zap2It's Laurel Brown detailed. "Only a few dangers are associated with this," she wrote. "For one, they might stay dead. Also, the druid center of Beacon Hills will light up -- like a beacon -- to attract supernatural beasties of all sorts. Finally, each of the surrogates will come back with some permanent darkness around their hearts. This is like a tattoo. But creepier.”
