A 10,000-square-foot Chicago mansion once described as among America's most "iconic" homes returned to the market Wednesday -- with a price tag just short of eight digits.
The ivy-covered home -- built in 1896 for Frederick Hampden Winston, the lawyer who founded the firm that would eventually become Winston & Strawn -- is described in its Prudential Rubloff listing as one of the Gold Coast's "most coveted" properties.
And with good reason: the property boasts 35 rooms, ten -- count them, 10! -- fireplaces, a brick patio and three decks offering a stunning city view.
All of that for $9.95 million -- the same price it was listed at last August. What do you think, like this pricey pad's style?
