Oklahoma Lottery Players Mistakenly Call 'America's Hottest' Phone Sex Line After Ticket Error

Inquisitive players of the Oklahoma Lottery may have gotten lucky lately, just not in the way you'd expect.

That's after a phone number printed on the back of lottery tickets reportedly connected callers not to the lottery commission, but to an adults-only phone sex line.

Intrepid reporters from KWTV dialed in and found it wasn't just any phone sex line -- it claims to be "America's hottest."

Ladonna Dobbs, one of an unknown number of customers who were mistakenly connected, recalled to the station, "I thought I dialed the wrong number ... so I got my glasses and I dialed again, and it was an adult phone line."

Rollo Redburn, the commission's executive director, acknowledged the mistake to The Tulsa World on Tuesday, explaining the lottery used to have that phone number in 2010, before getting rid of it to save costs. The tickets Ms. Dobbs and others picked up evidently had been printed on old, outdated paper.

Compounding the matter, the same phone number also appeared on the commission's website until the mistake was pointed out Monday.
