Dodgers phenom Yasiel Puig showed off his arm on Wednesday night when Mets outfielder Marlon Byrd tried advancing to third base on a bloop single to right field. That wasn't a good idea. Puig's throw was right on target as Jerry Hairston Jr. easily tagged out Byrd for the first out of the second inning.
Not only did Puig help save a potential run, he somehow turned a slow ground ball up the middle into a double allowing him to score the game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning.
