The Detroit Pistons may not have won much last season, but these new uniforms could mark the start of better fortunes for the team.
The new special jerseys and shorts aren't throwbacks, although they're fitted like them. But the blue and red tanks are emblazoned with Detroit pride, featuring MOTOR CITY across the chests.

“When you say Motor City – no matter where you are in the world – everyone knows you are talking about Detroit," said Dennis Mannion, CEO of Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Detroit Pistons, in a release. "We are proud to represent Detroit and hope these uniforms will serve as a source of pride for our fans and this region.”
Word is the team will play them at 10 upcoming games this season, according to NBA.com.
Fans can register for the waiting list at PistonsLR.com to order the new jerseys, which were designed with adidas and the NBA. They'll be on sale at all Pistons retail locations in November.
