Forty years after graduating from Yale Law School, Former First Lady and Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton is returning to her alma mater for a big honor.
According to the school's website, Clinton will be receiving an "Award of Merit" on Saturday, Oct. 5 for her contributions to the legal field. As part of the alumni weekend's "Global Constitutionalism" festivities, she will also make an address
The news arrives days after a Wednesday Politico report said Clinton is fielding offers from colleges and universities to generate a formal academic platform.
Since leaving her post as Secretary Of State in February, Clinton has kept busy on the speech circuit, earning significant money for her appearances. A July Washington Post report cited her as collecting more than $200,000 per appearance for talks to various industries.
