With Aaryn back in power, Elissa started to stress and freak out again. She and Aaryn have been on opposite sides of the "Big Brother" house since the beginning. To make matters worse, Elissa was missing her child's first day of school. The thought of going to the Jury House after getting evicted just proved too much for her.
She told Helen, a fellow mother and her closest ally in the house, that if she got evicted this week, she'd want to go straight home and skip the Jury House. This upset Helen, who thought Elissa might be a key vote she'd need to win the game -- a little presumptuous of her, no?
Helen went into the HOH room where she unexpectedly broke down. “I’m sorry, I don’t want to cry," she said. "I’ve carried her so far in the game and I feel like I can’t help her anymore.”
Andrea Reiher, writing for Zap2It, wasn't impressed with this emotional outburst. "Helen cries about how unfair that is and while we don't necessarily think that's unfair to Helen (it's not all about you), that's a chicken-poop way to play," she wrote. "[But Helen’s reveal] is not the right move if you want to try to get allies for your side, Helen. You suck that crap up and you go to work trying to cement an alliance, dummy.”
In the end, the 3 a.m. alliance put Helen and Elissa on the block. What Helen doesn't know is that she is the true target and that she's being played. Will she wise up in time to save herself? Or will the twist that brings back the first four jury members -- including this week's evictee -- for a chance to return to the house, give her a second life in the game on Thursday?
