Jennifer Lopez's Homes Amount To Quite The Real Estate 'Block'

AP

Jennifer Lopez may be “from the block,” but she’s certainly living far from it now. The mogul recently spent $10 million on a luxurious three-acre property in the Hamptons, N.Y., according to The New York Post.

The home boasts eight bedrooms, seven and a half baths and 8,500 total square feet. The Lopez family — including JLo, her boyfriend Caspar Smart and twins Max and Emme — were spotted touring the home more than once before the home went under contract. The light, airy home is on a secluded cul-de-sac and will certainly provide for some incredible memories to be made for the family.

The “Maid in Manhattan” star chose this home in Water Mill, New York this time around, but to what other properties has she signed her name? We took a look into her real estate portfolio, and here’s what we found…

Jennifer Lopez’s luxury homes

Long Island Colonial

In 2009, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony spent an estimated $2.1 million on a white colonial house built in 1972. It includes five bedrooms and four and a half baths – but no pool or gym – according to sources.

Hidden Hills Home for an Army

In early 2010, Lopez and Anthony purchased a home in the coveted Hidden Hills gated community in Los Angeles, California. They reportedly spent nearly $10 million but performed some extensive renovations and improvements on the property prior to moving in. Now, the over 17,000 square foot home includes a dozen bathrooms and nine oversized bedrooms. It boasts a movie theater, gym, 8-car garage, swimming pool, spa and tennis courts with a surrounding three acres of land. Privacy and luxury abound. Jennifer’s “family home” was also featured in Veranda magazine in 2012 where it was described as “a relaxing and cozy California residence with a stylish glow.”

Splitting a Home With Her Manager

Rumors have flown that Jennifer and her manager, Benny Medina, purchased a West Hollywood home together in July of this year. The plan is reportedly to split the home in two but share the space as family. Medina supported JLo in getting her start in show business, and they’ve collaborated on and off since the 1990s. He is also godfather to her children.

Say goodbye to Miami

Jennifer Lopez once owned an incredible property in Miami, Fla., but it reportedly sold in 2012 after being listed for $40 million. A restoration of a 1929 estate, the home was nothing but style, class and the utmost sophistication. At over 12,000 square feet, we suppose it was a decent starter home for the star.

A Magazine Feature for the Babies

A home that is no longer occupied by Jennifer and her family was showcased in Vogue Living in 2006 in large part due to the incredible nursery that had been created for the newborn twins! The room featured luxurious bedding and crystal chandeliers that many an interior designer and celebrity “wannabes” coveted.

Jennifer has come a long way from her childhood home in the Bronx. This past July, she walked through her old neighborhood, stopping in front of the white, two-story home that was hers as a child. She told W Magazine that she shared a room with her two sisters, and her last memory of the home was hearing her parents announce their separation to the family.

We’re hopeful that Jennifer Lopez’s summer home in the Hamptons will bring her and her family nothing but joy and sweet memories to be cherished for years to come.
