Man Mistakes Trash For Art Installation In Hilarious Smithsonian Prank

Posted: Updated:

Ah, the age old question that remains unanswered: "What is art?" Buried in years of shallow YouTube videos, this 2010 prank quest for truth examines the almighty inquiry once and for all.

In the video, a man who goes by the name of Vintage Ken journeys to the Smithsonian Museum, only to find that the one piece of work that captures his attention, dubbed "Please Do Not Enter," is actually not a work of art at all but an array of packing supplies and garbage. Hey, it happens.

We dedicate this video to all the times we have sincerely not been able to decipher the art things from the non-art things. It's not always easy! If all else fails, you can always just become the art yourself.
