What Obamacare And 1972 Miami Dolphins Have In Common

Posted: Updated:

They are both undefeated!

The 1972 Miami Dolphins team were invited to the White House on Tuesday to celebrate their perfect season more than 40 years ago. The Dolphins are the only team in NFL history to have an undefeated season and win the Super Bowl. They finished their 1972 season with a perfect 14-0 record.

Obamacare has faced many more challenges. As of August 2013, Congress has attempted to repeal the Affordable Care Act 40 times since the bill was signed into law in 2010.

Maybe four decades from now, history will look back on the Affordable Care Act with as much admiration as the 1972 Dolphins.
