'America's Got Talent': Newtown Tragedy Inspires Moving Shadow Performance Group Catapult (VIDEO)

The final group of the night on "America's Got Talent" paid tribute to the families affected by the Newtown tragedy. Catapult Entertainment is a silhouette performance troupe from Connecticut. They choreographed their routine to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," creating visuals of inspiration, love, family and joy. In the end, they stole the show and earned a standing ovation. Will it be enough to give them a spot in the semi-finals?

Writing for Buddy TV, Ted Kindig thought Catapult Entertainment's shadow routine was "very sweet." The troupe did even better, according to Hollywood Life's Avery Thompson. She gave them the top spot of the night in her weekly countdown.

“Howie loved the fact that they were the final act of the night and even declared, ‘I promise you that there isn’t anyone who has performed on this stage that could follow you.’ Wow, that’s a strong statement," Thompson wrote. "However, we kind of agree. After tonight, Catapult has made themselves unforgettable in this competition.”

Were you moved by Catapult's performance? Find out if they advance to the next round by tuning in to Wednesday night's results show. "America's Got Talent" continues its search for a superstar act on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
