Stephanie Kelly Clark, Artist, Immortalizes Stylish Homes In Needlework (PHOTOS)

It seems like Instagram is the preferred way to share photos of (gorgeous) homes. We can't scroll through our feed with a shot of a cool bedroom, living room or kitchen. But one artist is going more traditional. Stephanie Kelly Clark has decided to immortalize stylish homes through embroidered needlework.

The medium, which has roots in domesticity to begin with, really allows these super cute exteriors to shine. Though it doesn't capture every single detail of a home, Clark does capture the spirit of each place. Plus, the thoughtful stitching makes us slow down and really pay attention. And unlike a phone pic, these works of art will be far easier to pass down to future generations. (Of course, there is always the good ol' fashioned photograph, too.) Click through our slideshow to see her work, and be sure to head over to her website for more information. H/T Curbed.
