CNN's not too happy with a new brand of marijuana honoring Sanjay Gupta.
The network's resident doctor made big news when he revealed that he no longer saw weed as a major health risk, and even thought it could be used for legitimate medical purposes. In response, a Colorado pot dispensary announced that it was commemorating the momentous occasion with a special new brand of weed called "Sanjay Gupta Kush."
Enter CNN--or, more likely, CNN's lawyers, who quickly called the dispensary and told them to stop using Gupta's name.
Jeff Kless, the owner of the dispensary, told Animal New York that he would wait until CNN sent a formal cease-and-desist letter to stop selling the product.
There's been no word yet from Gupta on what he thinks about the whole thing.
