Gretchen Carlson Attempts Twerking And We Don't Know Why (VIDEO)

MAKE IT STOP!

"Fox & Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson attempted twerking on Thursday's show.

Why, you might ask? Well, we have absolutely no idea. All we can hope for is that twerking does not replace cable news hosts' penchant for rapping. If given the option, we'd actually prefer listening to their "funky-fresh rhymes," as one cable personality put it.

This, of course, is not the first time Carlson busted a move on the set of "Fox & Friends." Almost three years prior to what will become known as the day twerking somehow got even worse, the Fox News host and Laura Ingraham engaged in a classic "Ice-Off." For those unfamiliar with the historic event, it involved Carlson and Ingraham seat-dancing and pulsating to Vanilla Ice's iconic song, "Ice Ice Baby" in a competitive, yet friendly, manner.

Oh—and one last thing. "Fox & Friends" producers -- the music choice. Is that really what comes to mind when you envision twerking? Odd.
