Back in 2006, life was a little simpler for Lindsay Lohan. She had yet to enter rehab for the first time. She came out of her Disney Channel cocoon and she appeared on the cover of W Magazine with Meryl Streep.
Lohan played Streep's daughter in the indie movie "A Prairie Home Companion" and the magazine ran a cover story on the duo. Recently, Lohan posted the cover on her Instagram with the appropriate "#tbt" caption.
Lohan's been on the Streep-loving train recently (who isn't, really?) and posted another throwback Thursday photo in honor of the legendary actress last week.
W's cover story suggested that Lohan viewed Streep as a mentor. Streep had said, "She's very young. It's a great sort of coin to have, a wonderful time in somebody's life. I'm aware of the tabloid stuff because my kids tell me -- but I don't read it, and frankly, I couldn't care less. When they say 'Action,' Lindsay is completely, visibly living in front of the camera, and that's all anybody really cares about."
