Teemu Selanne Delays Retirement, Signs With Ducks For One Year (VIDEOS)

Posted: Updated:

After 21 seasons in the National Hockey League, Teemu Selanne will rejoin the Anaheim Ducks for one last hurrah.

The 43-year-old winger announced his decision to forego retirement for another year on Friday, putting rumors of his NHL exit to rest with a playful video posted to YouTube and tweeted by the Ducks' official Twitter account.

The upcoming season will celebrate the team's 20th anniversary as a franchise, which seems fitting for Selanne, considering he currently holds the record for games played, goals, assists, and postseason appearances in an Anaheim sweater.
