"The Wrong Mans" is Hulu's latest foray into original scripted programming, courtesy of "Gavin and Stacey" stars James Corden and Mathew Baynton, who both wrote and star in the comedic action thriller. Above, HuffPost TV has an exclusive sneak peek at the deliciously British comedy, which promises to be ... explosive, to say the least.
The series centers on Sam (Baynton), and Phil (Corden), two lowly office workers who become caught up in a deadly criminal conspiracy after Sam discovers a ringing phone at the scene of a horrific car crash. Answering this phone turns his world upside down, as he and Phil soon realize it's up to them to step up and save the day. Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong skills, they are "The Wrong Mans."
The series marks Hulu's second co-production with the BBC (the first being the fourth season of "The Thick of It"), and is directed and produced by Jim Field Smith ("Episodes," "She's Out of My League") and executive produced by Mark Freeland for BBC and Charlotte Koh for Hulu.
Binge-watchers will also be pleased to learn that Hulu will be making all six episodes available to Hulu Plus subscribers on November 11, while the first two episodes will be available for Hulu.com viewers, with future episodes rolling out weekly.
