2013 Most Affordable Places To Live In America, According To CNNMoney (PHOTOS)

Although everyone would prefer to pay a little less for their homes and get the most bang for their buck, the general consensus is that cheaper places to live tend to be further away from jobs, culture and community. But, that's not necessarily true. CNNMoney recently released the 25 most affordable places to live, which lists small towns across the country that have their own perks -- and homes that cost under $100,000 on average.

Just because these towns are less expensive doesn't mean they aren't "happening." The #1 town on the list, Altamonte Springs, Florida, is home to a huge Fourth of July celebration that attracts 150,000 attendees -- and The Jonas Brothers. Others that made the cut are picturesque, historic, charming and artsy. Don't believe us? Click through the slideshow below to learn more.
