Home Of Terrence Boston, D.C. Firefighter Killed In Motorcycle Accident, Burgled During Funeral

Home Of Dead Firefighter Burgled During Funeral

A fund has been set up for the family of a D.C. firefighter who died at the end of August -- and whose home was subsequently burgled during the funeral.

Terrence Boston, a 12-year veteran of the D.C. Fire Department, was killed in late August while riding his motorcycle.

His wife and three young children came home from his funeral on Wednesday to find that somebody had broken into their Prince George's County, Md., home.

The house was entered through a kitchen window, police told Fox 5. Boston's wife, also a firefighter, said she thinks the house was targeted.

"It's as low as you can get. The family's already suffering. To have someone prey on them while they're attending a funeral to grieve and celebrate the life of firefighter Boston is just absolutely disgusting," D.C. firefighter Ed Smith told the station.

A fellow firefighter has set up a fund for Boston's family. As of Friday just after 4 p.m., $3,675 has been donated.
