Prince's hot chicken in Nashville is objectively delicious. But even first-time tasters know it isn't for the faint of heart. We've tried the mild version before and trust us, that stuff is not mild.
Chef Sean Brock, of Nashville's Husk (among others), is no stranger to heat, though. In the preview clip above for the second season of "Mind Of A Chef" (premiering Sept 7), Brock and chef Erik Anderson of The Catbird Seat visit Prince's and order the extra hot. That is basically the equivalent of taste bud suicide.
Hallucinations occur, a fried-chicken-loving prostitute is discussed and the line, "Go ahead and put the toilet paper in the freezer right now" is uttered.
