The Swimming Pools Celebrate New EP 'Move To Love' With Music Video For 'Move To Love (Red Lights)'

Though Summer may be coming to a close, the season of swimming pools is in full swing, well "swimming pools" as in the electronic duo THESWIMMINGPOOLS, as they prepare to release their new EP, "Move to Love."

Christophe Doloire and Daniel Smith, the two masterminds behind THESWIMMINGPOOLS (who were boyfriends before making music together) have already released several songs from their upcoming four song EP, including "Move to Love (We Fade)" and "Move to Love (Red Lights)." The press release for the album explains the concept behind the EP:

"Move To Love" is a conceptual work with all four songs exploring the title theme "Move To Love." The first song, "Move To Love (We Fade)," is a kaleidoscopic vision that moves from a hazy summertime atmospheric dub into a pounding house track. The second song, "Move To Love (Red Lights)," is a dark electro-noir dance track.

They released the third track from the EP, "Move To Love (The Snake)," last week and you can check it out on iTunes.

Since 2004, THESWIMMINGPOOLS have released three full-length albums and are known for the dance parties they've held in the Meat Rack on Fire Island. Starting September 22 the duo will begin monthly "Move To Love" parties in Manhattan at ACME (9 Great Jones St.).
