New York Primary Marks Battle For Mayor Of NYC

Today is the primary election for mayor in New York City.

Candidates will face off at the polls after a long, messy battle that involved 150 forums and $15 million in advertising, according to the New York Daily News.

Democratic primary candidates include Sal Albanese, Randy Credico, Bill de Blasio, Neal Grimaldi, John Liu, Christine Quinn, Erick Salgado, Bill Thompson and Anthony Weiner. Republican candidates include John Catsimatidis, Joseph Lhota and George McDonald.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
