Kate Upton Says 'No Thanks' To Fashion Week

Now that the fashion world has finally embraced Kate Upton, homegirl is playing hard to get. After picking up her "Model of the Year" award on Wednesday, the blonde beauty has seemingly skipped out on the rest of New York Fashion Week.

So what has she been doing instead? Watching football.

Page Six reports that Upton was spotted at Brother Jimmy's Union Square on Saturday watching the University of Michigan game. Apropos for a girl discovered dancing at a sporting event, eh? Decked out in a Michigan hat, the model reportedly joined her (equally stunning) mom, brother and sister to throw down pickleback shots and beer. [Ed. note: That sounds like the worst hangover-in-the-making ever.]

Like we said, the Michigan native has already made an indelible mark on the modeling industry, scoring top-notch covers for Vogue, Elle and Vanity Fair as well as A-list campaigns for David Yurman and Sam Edelman. So who can blame her for getting a little too big for her Fashion Week britches?

Hey, her team ended up winning the football game, so we're sure Upton had no regrets, either.
