The longest run of Eddie Lacy's rookie season ended with crushing helmet-to-helmet collision that left him with a concussion. Green Bay's rookie running back got loose for a 10-yard gain against Washington on Sunday but was leveled by a high hit from safety Brandon Meriweather as he tried to lunge for extra yardage.
Meriweather's brutal above-the-shoulders hit left Lacy appearing dazed on the field. He was attended to by the team's medical staff. The Packers would soon announce that Lacy would be out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.
