Billy Hamilton Steals 4 Bases In 1st Career Start As Reds Top Astros (VIDEO)

Making his first career start on Wednesday night, Cincinnati speedster Billy Hamilton also made history in an extra-innings win over Houston.

The 23-year-old rookie became the first player since 1920 to steal four bases in his first career start, per Elias Sports. Oh, and he went 3 for 4 with two walks, an RBI and scored two runs.

"It was a pretty big game. I'm excited about it," Hamilton said after the Reds' 6-5 win, via MLB.com. "Coming in, I was nervous. I got on the field and guys were on my side. They said, 'You've got to go between the white lines, no matter what level you're on.' That really gave me a bunch of confidence and settled me down a bit."

Before his performance on Wednesday night, Hamilton had appeared in seven games and stole five bases.
