On Oct. 2, viewers can get a behind-the-scenes peek into the life of Miley Cyrus with MTV's debut of the documentary, "Miley: The Movement." A new trailer for the upcoming special shows the 20-year-old singer preparing for her headline-making performance at the VMAs, readying her album, and interacting with fans.

The clip also features a guest appearance by Cyrus' recent collaborator Britney Spears, with whom she worked on a new song for her upcoming album "BANGERZ." Cyrus opens up in the preview, talking about how people take the VMAs too seriously, before dropping this nice little truth hammer/rule to live by: "You're always gonna make people talk, you might as well make them talk for like two weeks rather than two seconds."
