Julia Louis-Dreyfus Emmys 2013: 'Veep' Star Wins Lead Actress In A Comedy Award

BEST ACTRESS IN A COMEDY IS...

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was honored at the Emmys with the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for "Veep." This is Louis-Dreyfus' fourth Emmy win overall. She won the Emmy last year for playing Vice President Selina Meyer on "Veep."

Louis-Dreyfus was up against Lena Dunham for "Girls," Amy Poehler for "Parks & Rec," Tina Fey for "30 Rock," Edie Falco for "Nurse Jackie" and Laura Dern for "Enlightened."

Louis-Dreyfus' "Veep" will return for a third season on HBO.
