Dumbo Arts Festival Preview: What To Expect On The Waterfront 2013 (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: What To See At This Year's Dumbo Arts Festival

The 17th annual Dumbo Arts Festival is this weekend. The Brooklyn-waterfront fete will host a wide range of art installations and performances, both indoor and outdoor.

Among this year's highlights: A giant, pixelated portrait of Chelsea Manning composed of 1,600 colored flags, titled "Who is Chelsea Manning?" And, for New York's cultured tots, a "Dada Playground"-- an interactive installation outfitted with cardboard structures on which everybody is invited to scribble.

Best of all, it's free! So wander about. The festival's schedule is as follows:

Friday, September 27th – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday, September 28th – 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday, September 29th – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

*All outdoor projections are open from 8pm to midnight all three nights.
