Sherene Ng graduated from Ryerson University's early childhood studies program last year. Her goal going into the program was to become a teacher but her career path took a definitive turn during her final internship. She was working at The Edge research lab at Ryerson's Digital Media Zone, one of Canada's largest incubators for entrepreneurs, when she hit on an idea for her own business.

"The internship introduced me to something completely new. I was given the opportunity to build things that were meaningful. I realized I did not want a traditional 9-to-5 job."
