The voice actors you came to love on classic Nickelodeon cartoons are having a nice resurgence in Hollywood, but not in an animated way.
The voices behind Tommy Pickles, Patti Mayonnaise, Rocko and more are all making comebacks, but this time, they're doing it front of the camera.
Tommy Pickles, "Rugrats"
EG Daily, who voiced Tommy Pickles on "Rugrats," recently auditioned for "The Voice." She was picked by both Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green, but ultimately sided with Team Blake.
Patti Mayonnaise, "Doug"
Constance Shulman, who voiced Patti Mayonnaise on "Doug," has been serving time on Netflix's "Orange Is The New Black" as Yoga Jones.
"Rocko's Modern Life"
Carlos Alazraqui has provided voices for many animated programs, including playing the titular character Rocko on "Rocko's Modern Life." In addition to playing Deputy James Garcia on "Reno 911!," Alazraqui has several projects in the works including starring opposite Tyler Posey in "Taco Shop."
Rocko's doctor, Dr. Paula Hutchison, was voiced by Linda Wallem. While her acting credits have been few and far between, Wallem stepped behind the camera and has worked on shows such as "That 70s Show," "Whitney" and "The Comeback." Wallem co-created Showtime's critically-acclaimed "Nurse Jackie" and currently serves as a consulting producer.
Noah Segan, Kid Blue in "Looper" and one of the firemen from "Breaking Bad's" epic "Ozymandias" episode, provided the voice of Henry on Nickelodeon's "Kablam!" Coming up, Segan has roles in "Starry Eyes" and "Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins."
