Miss Robbie Discovers Stowaway Puppies In Her Townhouse On 'Welcome To Sweetie Pie's' (VIDEO)

Miss Robbie Finds Surprise In Her Vacant Townhouse

Miss Robbie Montgomery may be the head of soul-food restaurant empire Sweetie Pie’s, but her business savvy couldn't prepare her for what she found hidden in her vacant townhouse.

In the above clip from an upcoming episode of "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's," Miss Robbie decides to stop by her empty townhouse and is surprised to find her nephew, Charles, in the backyard. He tells her he stopped by to clean up the yard, but Miss Robbie senses something else is going on. She inspects the rest of the house and is shocked at what she finds: Charles’ dog, Mia, and her six puppies hidden upstairs.

"What the hell these puppies doing here?" Miss Robbie asks.

Charles attempts to lie, saying that he had to bring the puppies with him when he came over to clean up the backyard. "So you mean wherever you go, you have to pick up six puppies and their mama and carry them with you?" Miss Robbie says, clearly not pleased.

"Everywhere but work," Charles says.

Cute as the puppies may look sprawled across the townhouse floor, Miss Robbie isn't impressed. "And they laid out like they done paid some rent -- or you,” she says.

Miss Robbie then discovers that Charles has set up a bed in another room of what should be her vacant house.

"Aunt Robbie," Charles says, "I kind of let the puppies be born here." After a shocked, momentary pause, Miss Robbie responds. "You kind of let them be born here? The puppies' been here since they've been born?"

Charles tries to soften Miss Robbie in the video by asking her to hold one of the puppies, but she wants nothing to do with it.

"I'm in the doghouse with Aunt Robbie -- literally," Charles says. "And figuratively, actually."
