Dara Caponigro, Former Editor-In-Chief Of Veranda, Named Creative Director Of Schumacher

Magazine Editor Makes Surprising Career Move

It looks like big changes are coming to the fabric world.

According to The Editor At Large, former Veranda editor-in-chief Dara Caponigro is now the creative director of Schumacher and Patterson, Flynn & Martin.

Schumacher CEO Terri Eagle said it's Caponigro's respect for all elements of design that makes her perfect for the job. "It was important to have someone with exceptional taste levels, a love of the luxury brand experience, and a great appreciation for quality craftsmanship and design. It was also important to have someone with experience in many categories—not just interior design. Dara loves and understands fine objects of desire, jewelry, and high-end luxury products."

Caponigro announced she was leaving Veranda in May of this year. Clinton Smith has been named the new editor-in-chief. More information about Caponigro's big move is available on The Editor At Large.
