Vanessa Simmons, the actress, entrepreneur and daughter of hip-hop pioneer Rev. Run, took to her personal Instagram account this afternoon to announce some big news.
She's expecting her first child, a little girl!
While there's no official word on who the father is, Global Grind is reporting that the father is her long term boyfriend and son of Damon Wayans, Mike Wayans .
Russell Simmons' website shared the news shortly after the photo was shared on Instagram, giving additional details about the announcement. According to the site, Simmons is about five months along, and released a statement from the mom-to-be:
“Our families are super excited. Our baby is coming into two big families with lots of love and lots of joy. This is my family’s first grandchild, so everybody can’t wait for her arrival.”
