3 Arrested In Brazen Robbery Of Unconscious, Injured Bicyclist In Ann Arbor (VIDEO)

Caught On Tape: Brazen Thieves Rob Unconscious Man

Police in Ann Arbor, Mich. have arrested three people in the brazen robbery of an unconscious 25-year-old man. But, as Fox 2 Detroit reports, the investigation still is far from closed.

After reviewing surveillance footage, which can be seen in the video above, police say that the young man was being chased on his bicycle last Tuesday evening on Liberty Street in downtown Ann Arbor. When the cyclist ran over a curb, he fell face-first to the pavement. The impact was so severe, Fox 2 Detroit says that the young man swallowed several teeth, fractured his right eye, and split his lip.

The suspect catches up to him and steals his bicycle, leaving the injured man on the ground.

While the bicyclist sprawled unconscious on the pavement, a woman approaches him, as shown in the surveillance footage. But she doesn't call for help or otherwise comfort the unconscious man -- instead, she can be seen rifling through his pockets. The woman, who can be identified by her pink sneakers, later returns with another man and another baby stroller. They go through his pockets again, removing some of his personal belongings, and walk away.

Ann Arbor Police announced that three people now face felony charges in connection with the incident. They are Audreyanna Little, 21, Jonas Abrams, 19 and Willis McGraw, 39.

One week later, Fox 2 Detroit says the man is still in the hospital, where doctors are reportedly monitoring bleeding in his brain.

But police say they're looking for anyone who may have been in the area of 300 Liberty St on Sept. 24. They're trying to reconstruct the crime and hoping witnesses will come forward with information.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ann Arbor Police Department tip line at (734) 794-6939 or email them.
