Self-trained animal behaviorist and lion whisperer Kevin Richardson has some unorthodox practices for dealing with large predators like these lions.
He claims that "his unique method of getting to know their individual personalities, what makes each of them angry, happy, upset, or irritated -- just like a mother understands a child -- has caused them to accept him like one of their own, into their fold."
Yet these lions are not the first to recognize, and bond with, a human. For proof, see the reunion video of Christian the lion, or the video of the lion hugging his rescuer after six years.
Interacting with wild animals can be dangerous, but this unique footage certainly makes it look like those lions are happy to see Kevin.
