'Super Fun Night' Ratings: Viewers Tuned In, But Will They Stay?

'Super' Ratings?

Rebel WIlson's "Super Fun Night" ratings were not quite super, but they were decent.

The new comedy starring and executive produced by Wilson had 8.2 million viewers at 9:30 p.m. ET. The show had a 3.2 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

"Super Fun Night" was the No. 2 show in the 18-49 demo, second only to its lead-in, "Modern Family," which had a 4.2 rating and 10.9 million viewers.

The odds were stacked against the new comedy. The original pilot episode was met with harsh reviews from critics. ABC slotted the show's second episode as its premiere, scrapping the original pilot. The episode featured Wilson's character, Kimmie, singing. ABC no doubt hoped to capture fans of Wilson's "Pitch Perfect."

"Super Fun Night" airs Wednesdays, 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
