There's just something about Chicago that really lends itself to some stunning time-lapse videos.
Between the cloud-tickling skyscrapers, the rivers and bridges running through them, the Lake Michigan-lining beaches, the "L" tracks and -- of course -- the way the city looks like a giant circuit from the sky at night, we've got plenty of fodder for aspiring photographers to showcase.
Photographer Kamil Galimski -- whose time-lapse work we've featured before here -- again took note of his inspiring surroundings recently in a video that caught our eye. Wrote Galimski of his latest work, shut recently over the course of about a week:
There's no better way of finishing a long trip than coming back to Sweet Home Chicago. As much as I love traveling and exploring new locations, I never have as much fun shooting as I do in my hometown.
Our favorite moments include watching the boats zip across the lake (0:33), the Buckingham Fountain getting wild (2:15) and, duh, the sunsets.
