Daniel Radcliffe was a guest on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" Thursday night and admitted he has a penchant for older women. When a caller phoned in and asked if Radcliffe had a particular "type," the "Kill Your Darlings" actor admitted he's dating someone, but wouldn't spill the beans just yet. That is, until Cohen pressed him for details.
Cohen conjured up Radcliffe's admission from five years prior that he lost his virginity at 16 to a more mature woman. Asking the 24-year-old actor if that is still his type, a blushing Radcliffe replied, "It would be hard for me to deny ... I have a track record with that."
The former child star is the subject of New York Times Magazine's cover story this week and in it he mentions his girlfriend, actress Erin Darke, whom he met on the set of "Kill Your Darlings." She is five years his senior.
Radcliffe also told the caller his type is "intelligent," echoing what he told the London Evening Standard back in June. "I never understand men who are threatened by intelligent women," he said. "Maybe it's that Freudian thing: my mom is a really intelligent, smart woman — and feisty as hell — so that's always my basis of comparison."
Radcliffe dated set painter Rosie Coker, whom he met on set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," for two years before breaking it off last October. They're the same age.
