Megyn Kelly previewed her new show on Thursday's "O'Reilly Factor," telling viewers not to expect an opinion show.
"It's gonna be a news program, breaking news, not an opinion program so I'm not gonna be the female Bill," Kelly said about "The Kelly File."
"Well, you should be," O'Reilly responded.
"Tempting as that is," Kelly joked, laughing. She added that she intends to "present both sides of the view," and she will continue to weigh in on issues, but opinion won't be the focus of her show.
The appearance marked Kelly's return to Fox News after going on maternity leave and giving birth to her son Thatcher. Her move to primetime was announced in July, and "The Kelly File" debuts on Monday at 9 p.m.
