Sofía Vergara has reigned as the Queen of prime time for two consecutive years -- and she’s nowhere close to abdicating her throne.

With an extensive résumé on and off camera, the Colombian actress is planning to bring these two worlds together by executive producing an autobiographical series for ABC titled “Raising Mom,” Deadline reports.

The comedy is the latest project to come out of Vergara’s Latin World Entertainment (Latin WE) company and Electus production studio, both of whom also announced Fox’s upcoming immigrant comedy “Speak American” last month.

According to Deadline, Latin WE’s Luis Balaguer came up with the idea for the series after witnessing the relationship between Sofía, 41, and her son Manolo, 21. The plot will thus follow a young single mother and son who realize they’ve managed to successfully raise each other but must now set out in search of independence.

“Modern Family’s” Emmy-winning director Gail Mancuso will be behind the new series, which will be written by Christine Zander ("Raising Hope").

Vergara is also executive producing ABC’s “Killer Women,” the English-language adaptation of Argentine series "Mujeres Asesinas."

The Colombian star’s work with LatinWE as well as her four-time Emmy nominated role as Gloria on ABC’s “Modern Family” have earned her the title of TV’s highest paid actress two years in a row -- by a long shot. Vergara rakes in $30 million a year compared to the “Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco who landed the No. 2 spot with $11 million per year.
