Obama To Hold News Conference Amid Shutdown, Debt Ceiling Fights

President Barack Obama will hold a news conference Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.

According to the White House, Obama will make a statement and take questions from the press.

He is likely to discuss the ongoing standoff over the government shutdown, which entered its second week on Tuesday, as well as the looming debt ceiling deadline.
