Jonas Brothers' Tour Canceled Because Of A 'Rift Within The Band'

Two days before their fall tour was set to begin, the men of the Jonas Brothers have canceled all 19 of their shows, according to People.

The cancelation was confirmed by Jesse Derris, a representative for the Jonas Brothers, who told the publication, "There is a deep rift within the band."

"There was a big a disagreement over their music direction," he continued.

Fans who bought tickets for the shows, which were scheduled for big cities including Boston, New York City, and Seattle, will receive refunds for their purchases. A radio DJ in Pennsylvania, where the boys' first show was scheduled, announced earlier today that the show would not be taking place.

Made up of brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas, the Jonas Brothers released their first album, "It's About Time," in 2006. They saw the most success with their 2008 album "A Little Bit Longer," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum. The band was expected to release a fifth studio album, "V," later this year.

The Jonas Brothers have yet to comment on the future of the album or the band.
