In a world filled with artificial food coloring, high fructose corn syrup and GMOs, foods have come a long way from their roots. But a heightened interest in organic products, GMO labeling, and super foods suggest a general distaste with and fear of these foods.

Sugar. It is hidden in different ways in food and that can cause Diabetes. Diabetes is no joke. It causes tons and tons of health problems. Nerve damage, kidney problems, heart problems, vision loss...on and on.

The prevalence of convenience foods which are loaded with preservatives, sodium,chemicals, HFCS or other added sugars. We have gotten away from cooking real food and now everything is frankenfood. Salt or sugar are not bad in and of themselves, but we have gotten used to unbelievable amounts of them in processed food.
