Fox News' Keith Ablow Blames Obama's 'Victim Mentality' For Shutdown Troubles

Fox News' Psychiatrist Says Obama Was Victimized

Fox News' resident "medical expert" Dr. Keith Ablow waxed poetic on Wednesday's "Fox & Friends" about President Obama's "victim mentality."

Ablow, who has previously theorized that infidelity makes for better presidents, mentioned a statement made by President Obama in September, when he accused Republicans of "holding the whole country hostage" by shutting down the government and threatening to default. Ablow claimed that refusing to negotiate with the GOP is a sign of the President's own victimization.

"Are you suggesting that the President feels that he has been victimized by the Tea Party?" Fox News' Steve Doocy asked.

“I think the president, going back to when his dad abandoned him, when his mother left him with his grandparents… all of those things led him to feel victimized, hurt and injured and he has extended it to this country," Ablow replied.
