J.J. Martin, Wallpaper Magazine Editor At Large, Has A Home As Stylish As Her Clothes (PHOTOS)

PHOTO: Editor's Gorgeous Home Has One Problem

Last year, J.J. Martin, editor at large of Wallpaper Magazine was named one of the most stylish people during "fashion month." And when we saw her home in Italy on Tales of Endearment, it was clear that her impeccable good taste easily translates to interiors.

Martin says her favorite fashion eras are the '50s, '60s and '70s, and that seems to hold true for her choice of decor as well. Martin has decked out her home in fabulous vintage pieces, like vases from Pierre Cardin, pieces from Piero Fornasetti and chairs from Carlo Ratti. "I am obsessed with chairs and have them all over the house. None of them make much sense, as my husband frequently points out,” she told the blog.

Her home is also incredibly airy and bright. Although, there is one downside to the space: mosquitoes are frequent visitors, hence the giant bed net in her bedroom.

Martin has worked with architects and designers for quite a while, but she knows when it comes to your home, it's up to you to create the space you want. "Do your own decorating. Don’t leave it up to the architect or your house will end up looking like a Knoll catalog," she said.

We were lucky to grab a few shots of Martin's home from Instagram, but you're going to want to see the full tour at Tales of Endearment. So, what are you waiting for? Head over there... now!
