This will mark his season debut.
"Rob Gronkowski has now been cleared by all his doctors to play Sunday in the Jets game," agent Drew Rosenhaus said via text message to several outlets.
Gronkowski had missed the first six games. Now, he's back.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick didn't acknowledge a change in Gronkowski's status, citing the injury report to come out later today.
Gronkowski has been practicing for weeks.
"I'm just improving every week, that's all, really," Gronkowski said this week. "I mean, like I said, nothing's changed, man, and nothing has changed the whole time. And just the one thing that has changed actually is that I'm improving every week and it's going good."
