“The cure for anything is salt water - tears, sweat, or the sea.” -- Isak Dineson
When you live in Hawaii, the ocean is never far away. Especially since these islands are the most isolated group of islands on Earth.
For us kamaaina -- or, residents of Hawaii -- the ocean is a big part of our everyday lives. We retreat to the beaches when we need to unwind. We grab our boards and surf for hours on end. We throw out the fishing lines or swim out with spears to catch tonight's dinner. And how could you not be mesmerized by the movements of that beautiful big blue?
In this week's #AlohaHuffPost roundup, our readers show us how the ocean can cure just about anything -- and the view from here is pretty spectacular.
