Kelly Clarkson Marries Brandon Blackstock In Tennessee

Kelly Clarkson Is Married!

Kelly Clarkson is a married woman!

Clarkson wed fiance Brandon Blackstock in Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 20 at Blackberry Farms in Walland. Blackberry Farms is a 4,200-acre luxury hotel and resort situated in the Great Smoky Mountains.

A small group of family and friends were in attendance at the ceremony, including his two children from a previous marriage, according to E! News.

The singer took to Twitter to announce the news to fans, following a bout of rumors about the nuptials, and even shared two gorgeous photos from the special day. The 31-year-old looked beautiful in a long-sleeved Temperly London lace gown with her hair styled in a loose up-do. She and her hubby posed for pics on the resort's palatial grounds.

Hollywood Life first reported that Clarkson and Blackstock had wed, pointing to a tweet sent out Sunday by a woman claiming to be the sister of a Blackberry Farms chef.

Fans likely knew a wedding was coming since the couple secured a marriage license in Tennessee on Oct. 15. A marriage license is good for 30 days from the date of issuance, Us Weekly previously noted.

In August, Clarkson told People magazine that she and Blackstock would elope. They had originally planned to wed in an "earthy" outdoor farm wedding at home, but things got too crazy.

"Our whole life is a celebration," she said at the time. "That's what we kept laughing about. We don't need another day where we throw a big party. Our lives are so in the spotlight all the time. Everything is such a spectacle, we were like, 'We would rather have an intimate moment that's special.'"
