Angel Haze put her own spin on a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hit this week, recording a freestyle over the duo's collaboration with Mary Lambert, "Same Love." The female rapper, who has spoken about her bisexuality in the past, begins her recording by saying, "Hi, Mom, I'm really scared right now, but, I have to..." before addressing her own experience with prejudice. "At age 13, my mother knew I wasn't straight / She didn't understand but she had so much to say / She sat me on the couch looked me straight in my face and said / You'll burn in hell or you'll probably die of AIDS," she raps. Take a listen to the emotional song below.
